Places I need to be.  2013

encaustic ( bees wax)on wood panels

20x 25cms x 6

Purchase for $1,200.00

An entry into a the Lincoln College Adelaide exhibition called Red Threads.  I made work about the places I like to be.  But this is a purely personal interpretation, being with my daughter, or in places that I have been drawing in the last series ( Paper Skins and Dwelling Places) Encaustic;  working on wood panels with hot bees wax. The material relates well to my thoughts about dwelling places and interior spaces as bees use this to make their hives. Panels can be hung or arranged as you like as they are indidual pieces.
